This open-plan ground floor apartment is in our 1930’s village house and was renovated in 2008.

Is a traditional farming village which benefits from proximity to a pretty waterfall and boasts a wealth of ancient history; this is the site of the discovery of the oldest worked gold in Europe.
Village facilities include 3 shops, 2 bars, an ancient church, museum and an active village choir.
The locals, be they Bulgarian or British, are welcoming of visitors and always happy to share this corner of ‘old Bulgaria’ with them.
The open countryside around the village is perfect for exploring on foot or by cycle.
Hotnitsa is situated 15 km North-West of Veliko Tarnovo, there are regular bus services and good year round access. Car-hire or Taxi services can be arranged.
Nearby attractions include the natural beauty of the Emen Canyon, the model village of Arbanassi and several monasteries. Facilities for horse riding, fishing, climbing and swimming can all be found in the surrounding area.
The apartment is priced at 40 leva per night (200 leva per week) for one or two persons.
